Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

The wellbeing team is deeply committed to understanding each student as an individual, taking the time to build trusting relationships and gain insight into their strengths, challenges, and personal circumstances. The team proactively tailors their approach to meet diverse wellbeing needs—whether emotional, social, or academic—and collaborates closely with families and staff to create a safe, inclusive environment. When additional support is required, the wellbeing team refers students to external agencies and specialised services.

The wellbeing team collaborates with a range of local community services to offer extra support to individuals and families. These include organisations such as The Smith Family; St Vincent de Paul; SYFS; The team also coordinates the annual Christmas Initiative, which connects community services with families and provides hampers to those needing additional assistance during that time of year.

Recurring wellbeing events and programs that we acknowledge and participate in throughout the year include:
