All government and non-Government schools across Australia are required to participate annually in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD). This simply means we will be collecting data on students who are receiving adjustments to meet additional learning and support needs. This data will then be provided to the Australian government to assist in the development of a national picture of the education needs of students with disability. Corrimal High School stands on the traditional lands of the Wadi Wadi people of the Dharawal nation. We acknowledge and pay our respect to all clans and groups of the Dharawal nation – the Wodi Wodi of Kangaroo Valley to Lake Illawarra, the Bong Bong of Mossvale, the Allowrie of Lake Illawarra to Fairy Meadow, the Murra Murra of Kiama, the Jerrungarah of Kiama to Shoalhaven heads, the Thoura of Towradgi to Stanwell Park, the Gweagal of Otford to Cronulla, the Bidgegal of Botany Bay and the Gubbitch Ditch of Campbelltown to Tahmoor. We remember and respect their past, present and future connections to this land. We honour their descendants, who stand with us today as part of our school community and we value the spiritual and cultural traditions they celebrate. We pay our respects to the young generations and future elders as they are the strength that will keep these traditions and dreaming alive. We also extend this respect to all those in our community.
