It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Friday December 6 at Ziems Park Corrimal as it was the fourth annual Carols in Corrimal. Held as a partnershpi between, the Corrimal CoS, Corrimal Chamber of Commerce and the Corrimal Cougars RLA, the event kicked of at 6:30pm with performance by many talent school and community groups. Well done to our CHS performers Stephanie Walford, Nyree Downy, Mackenzie-Rose Klerks and Tarnni Foster - you all sounded wonderful and light up the night. A large congratulatinos to Tarnni Foster, Aaron Ross, Jasper Hayman and Zac Rzeminski who coordinated the nights sound, photography, drone and stage setup.

Corrimal High School stands on the traditional lands of the Wadi Wadi people of the Dharawal nation. We acknowledge and pay our respect to all clans and groups of the Dharawal nation – the Wodi Wodi of Kangaroo Valley to Lake Illawarra, the Bong Bong of Mossvale, the Allowrie of Lake Illawarra to Fairy Meadow, the Murra Murra of Kiama, the Jerrungarah of Kiama to Shoalhaven heads, the Thoura of Towradgi to Stanwell Park, the Gweagal of Otford to Cronulla, the Bidgegal of Botany Bay and the Gubbitch Ditch of Campbelltown to Tahmoor. We remember and respect their past, present and future connections to this land. We honour their descendants, who stand with us today as part of our school community and we value the spiritual and cultural traditions they celebrate. We pay our respects to the young generations and future elders as they are the strength that will keep these traditions and dreaming alive. We also extend this respect to all those in our community.
