On Monday 14/9/2020, interested students from year 9, 10 and 12 attended a Hair and Beauty Industry Live Zoom presentation by South Coast Academy of Hair and Beauty.

Students learnt about the importance of personal presentation while attending a job interview and in the workplace. Students were shown how to apply light natural make up and how to do a quick messy bun style for a job interview.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and gained great tips and tricks from professionals working in the industry. They also gained a greater understanding about training opportunities and pathways into the hair and beauty industry.

Corrimal High School stands on the traditional lands of the Wadi Wadi people of the Dharawal nation. We honour their descendants, who stand with us today as part of our school community and we value the spiritual and cultural traditions they celebrate. We pay our respects to the young generations and future elders as they are the strength that will keep these traditions and dreaming alive. We also extend this respect to all those in our community.
