STEM in the library:

This year we have introduced a STEM makerspace in the library.

STEM represents activities and skill sets surrounding Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. A hands on learning approach to creating with tools and technology.  The idea is about “creating creative people” through the process of experimenting in a structured learning environment.  Our makerspace provides perfect Project Based Learning Opportunities

As creativity and innovation are an integral part of our school culture we have created a fully equipped Makerspace in the library consisting of:

  • 3D Printing capability and Software
  • Robotics and Circuit Equipment - Makey Makey’s, Edison Robots, Arduino’s
  • Coding Apps and Devices
  • Lego Activities
  • Strawbees
