The Well-Being of staff and students underpins all we do at Corrimal High School.
We continue to promote healthy and collegial staff relationships as we work together to support the well-being of the students at the school. We have been identified as excelling in well-being in our recent external validation process.
We pride ourselves on knowing our students and their families so we can best support them and ensure they experience a safe and happy school environment. Our experienced Year Advisers work diligently to support their students and ensure they offer a wide variety of opportunities to explore positive peer relationships, identify students who may benefit from programs that deal with anxiety, positive role modelling and gaining skills for the future.
Our school has implemented a positive rewards program – Corrimal High Awards Token Scheme or CHATS for short. Every time a student demonstrates positive behaviour it is rewarded with a CHAT. These tokens can be collected by students and cashed in for rewards at different levels. Canteen vouchers, gift cards for specialty stores of their choosing as well as free entry to our Jamberoo Rewards excursion at the end of the year are up for grabs.
