At our school, we prioritise student wellbeing as a fundamental aspect of a thriving learning environment. We believe that when students feel supported, connected, and valued, they are empowered to reach their full potential. Our strong wellbeing team, led by our Head Teacher Wellbeing, Mrs. Mel Bourke, includes a dedicated Student Support Officer, Mr. Joshua Maynard, along with our Year Advisers and an experienced School Counselling team. Additionally, we have a school chaplain, scripture teacher and a WHIN Nurse on site to support linkages between external services, students and their families.
To further promote positive behaviour, we organise reward excursions and lunches, recognising and celebrating student achievements. Our house system fosters a whole-school approach to positive behaviour, encouraging teamwork and camaraderie among students. Through mental health resources, social-emotional learning, and opportunities for physical activity, we help students build resilience and a sense of belonging.
Through collaboration with educators, parents, and the community, we create a nurturing atmosphere where every student can flourish academically and personally. Together, we cultivate a positive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes overall wellbeing.
